Pediatric dentistry that makes a difference
At Bluefish, our doctors and staff truly enjoy connecting and communicating with children at all levels from infancy to adolescence. From teeth cleaning to braces to more involved dental procedures, our friendly and professional team is ready to take good care of you and your family.
Our families are our partners
Bluefish is a place where parents and guardians who want to understand and take an active role in their children's dental care and development are supported. We take the time to get to know you and your family, and recommend treatment and preventative options that are customized for your child. Questions about cavities, white fillings, nitrous, flouride and any other dental issue are more than welcome, and we encourage you to share your concerns so that we help you address them. Working together with families, we believe that we can make a positive difference for children by establishing and supporting dental education and good oral health habits at an early age.
Getting an early start on healthy teeth
The American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Association of Pediatricians recommend that a child's first visit to the dentist happen when the first baby teeth come into the mouth or by one year of age. Although the child might be too young to understand much, parents and guardians can receive a wealth of information that will help them nurture good oral health for their little ones as they grow. Early dental exams also ensure that potential issues--such as hard-to-see cavities that occur between the teeth--can be caught and treated before they become much more serious. At Bluefish we strongly believe in the value of early dental exams, and we offer new patient dental exams and six-month checkups at no charge. Request an appointment.
Our patients have the added advantage of having an orthodontist on staff to help catch and address orthodontic issues early, often avoiding more expensive and time-consuming treatment. Learn more about Bluefish orthodontic services.
