If you have been in to Bluefish lately you might have noticed the big blue bins in the reception areas of our Bend and Redmond offices. Help us fill them up with food to help combat hunger in our community! Throughout the month of July we will be collecting canned and nonperishable food items to contribute to the NeighborImpact Food Bank. Here’s the really fun part: children 12 and under who donate a food item will receive one free ticket good for a carnival ride at the Deschutes County Fair.
Bluefish will also be collecting canned goods along with our friends from KTVZ at the Deschutes County Fair on Thursday, Aug. 2. On that day only, children 12 and under who bring a canned good to donate will receive FREE ADMISSION TO THE FAIR as well as a FREE CARNIVAL RIDE TICKET. Look for our Bluefish canopy just inside the MAIN entrance to the fair.
Every year at the fair we have fun stacking cans into towers and seeing lots of our patient families and friends. We hope to see you all out there again this year, and thanks in advance for helping us spread the word. Don’t forget sunscreen, especially for the little ones!
A few points to highlight per our agreement with the Fair:
- Offer is for children 12 and under
- One carnival ride ticket per child (regardless of number of cans donated)
- We will be located inside the MAIN entrance at the Fair on Thursday, Aug. 2
